WNU WEEKENDS: OUR NEW NEIGHBOURHOOD

Our new store has officially been open just over a month and we have been touched by how many of you have visited us already!

Have you been in the area and visited our shop recently? Or are you looking for another excuse to go? Either way, we have compiled a list of our favourite spots in our new neighbourhood where you can go to eat, drink, relax and shop (obviously we would have put WNU store as the top destination, but you already know that).
So plan a trip! Head into London and make a weekend of it. We tried and tested every place on our hotspot list and - trust us - you won’t be disappointed.

Fancy a tipple?

Almost opposite our Elizabeth Street store, Tomtom Coffee House is situated on the end of Elizabeth Street, and it’s where you can find one of the best cups of coffee in this part of london*. Pull up a seat and people watch to your heart's content from their streetside location whilst enjoying a drink and perhaps a bite to eat too.
*we think, anyway!
A stylish watering hole in Belgravia, and a stone's throw from our shop, The Thomas Cubbitt provides a perfect place to have a drink or indulge in a meal  - whether that be your old pub favorites or something a little more luxurious. If a more private experience is needed, The Thomas Cubbitt has a beautiful selection of spaces for any occasion.
Having just started a three month summer pop up, Drink Amie serves delicious glasses of red, white and Rosé (our fave) perfect for a summer drink in the sun in Eccleston Yards. The bonus? It's only a 30 second walk from the WNU store!
Through a rather unassuming alley - and home to the previously mentioned Drink Amie - the gorgeous Eccleston Yards is home to a selection of eateries and intimate places to get a drink day or night. Sit back on a deckchair in the beautifully planted yard and watch as the chicest people of Belgravia assemble to escape the hustle and bustle of their neighbourhood.

Retail Therapy

Founded by the legendary perfumeier Jo Malone, Jo Loves is her latest venture and their classic Pomelo candle (with notes of zingy grapefruit and citrus) can be seen or smelt burning in our Elizabeth street store. look no further for a beautiful, new, signature home scent.
For the pampered pet in your life, treat them to something they’re bound to enjoy from a cosy new bed or a cute new toy from Mungo & Maud - who specialise in the most luxurious gifts for your four legged friends.
If you are looking for home decor, or specifically a handmade linen tablecloth to match your latest WNU purchase, or perhaps another homeware accessory, Summerill and Bishop on Elizabeth Street is the place to go. From vases to plates, they have everything  you need for your table, truly a one-stop-shop for all of your tablescape dreams.

As an independent bookshop just a street away from our shop, Belgravia Books features a selection of latest releases and old-time classics - from Jane Austen to Richard Coles. Perhaps picking up a new book will be the push to read the book you've always said you don't have time to finish (new habits not included!).

When hunger strikes

Situated in a former power station, Wild by Tart is a long time favourite of ours and it serves up delicious, seasonal food everyday in their light and airy restaurant. For a drink, take a moment in their bar (which is open all day long!).
Just the name of Daylesford Organic conjures up the idea of a delicious experience; from their pimlico location you can shop both straight from their cotswolds farm in the farm shop, or grab a homemade bite to eat (and a delicious coffee) from their cafe.
The west London Deli Bayley and Sage specialise in delicious produce, and have been serving Londoners for nearly 25 years. Their newest store opening is just down the road from us and their selection of fresh flowers, including blousy hydrangeas, deep pink lilies and the prettiest tulips situated outside the shop are admired by all who wander past.

For a delicious meal, our neighbour Oliveto serves up the most delicious Italian dishes from pizzas and pastas in a range of tasty new combinations and classic deliciousness. Grab a seat outside and soak up the sun enjoying the freshly baked goodness.

Something to do (or see!)

For an experience out of the ordinary, try a pottery throwing class at Studio Pottery where you can have a go making your own pot under the supervision of an expert. This uplifting experience will truly take you out of your everyday life.

Are you in need of a relaxing escape? If so, then why not try a relaxing yoga or meditation session at Re:Mind, situated in the calming Eccleston Yards. With many different meditation and yoga offered, get ready to relax from the moment you arrive - and after a session with one of the instructors, prepare to go home having truly found your peace.
As one of the newest art galleries in the city, The Saatchi Gallery’s latest exhibition Vision & Virtuosity showcases the 150 years since Tiffany and Co opened their London store. The glittering exhibition showcases recognisable pieces from the jewellery house and some of the maison’s iconic creations by designers including Jean Schlumberger and Elsa Peretti amongst others.
